Exercise and Real Food

Most people don’t like going on diets or getting in shape because it often requires them to make changes to their eating habits as well. I’ve figured out the best way to be able to eat real food while still maintaining a healthy weight. How is that? Well, it’s simple. Adding exercise to my daily routine has really paid off and has enabled me to eat what I want when I want. Of course, I’m not binging on greasy fast food and ice cream but I eat foods that I like without worrying about gaining that most dreaded unwanted weight.

I’ve changed my daily routine to the point where I spend about three hours exercising each day. I jog for about an hour in the morning, power walk after work, and do cardiovascular workouts and aerobics in my home whenever I have time. Starting an exercise routine was beneficial for me because I still get to enjoy the foods that I love. In fact, I continue to follow Real Food Recipes when I make my meals each day. Most people think that you simply can not eat what you love and maintain a healthy weight but that is entirely untrue.

I enjoy different cuts of meat, all baked or grilled of course. I also eat carbs during the day. I don’t have to give up eating bread, pasta, or even rolls to look good and fit into my skinny jeans. I could never give up pasta anyway, it is my absolute favorite food! I keep a calorie intake of around 2,000 calories simply because I exercise and burn off about 700 of those calories through my jogging, brisk walking, and cardiovascular exercises. I enjoy my lifestyle and not making my diet too strict. I’m much happier and it feels good to be fit and enjoy what I love.
